About Me
Williaums
Director & Co-founder
My name is Williams, born and raised in Orkeeswa Village, Monduli District, Arusha, Tanzania. I am the third of six children and was raised by my strong and hardworking mother after losing my father at a young age. Despite many challenges, my mother taught me that education was the most valuable inheritance she could give me.
Growing up in a Maasai community shaped my identity and inspired my vision. While I am proud of my culture, I also witnessed the impact of gender inequality. This motivated me to dedicate my life to empowering women and orphanage children through education—because I believe that when women and orphanage children are given the opportunity to dream, they grow into strong people with vision and voice.
